- Avoid steel wool, metal scrubbers and abrasive cleaning powders.
- Do not clean in a dishwasher.
- Do not use strong chemical cleaners or bleach.
For occasional polishing, use a copper-cleaning product according to its instructions. A mild homemade copper-cleaning method may also be used carefully, followed by thorough rinsing and immediate drying.
Preservation:
- Store only after the tray is completely dry.
- Keep it in a dry, moisture-free cabinet.
- Wrap it in a soft cotton cloth or tissue paper before long-term storage.
- Avoid stacking heavy utensils directly over it.
- Place a soft cloth between trays when stacking.
- Keep away from prolonged exposure to humidity.
- Remove food immediately after serving and clean the tray promptly.
- Natural darkening or patina may develop over time; this is normal for copper and can be removed with suitable polishing.
- Handle carefully to prevent dents and scratches.
Care Note: Copper naturally changes colour with exposure to air and moisture. Regular cleaning, immediate drying and proper storage will help maintain its shine and appearance.
