• Procedure to Clean: Copper generally gets oxidized or tarnishes as a natural phenomenon. Hence a quick glance at the cleaning ways might help you to maintain Copper products well. 
  1. Pitambari Powder is the best and traditional way to clean the copper items.
  2. Vinegar with a combination of Salt can be applied and cleaned or otherwise the copper product that is to be cleaned can be immersed in a solution of Vinegar and salt in boiling water.
  3. Lemon and salt mixed together can be rubbed to clean the product and salt can also be replaced with Baking Soda.

Usage Instructions

• Wash the dispenser thoroughly before first use.
• Use it only for storing and dispensing plain drinking water.
• Place it on a strong, level and completely dry surface.
• Position the tap slightly beyond the edge of the stand or counter for convenient glass placement.
• Fill the dispenser according to its stated capacity without overfilling.
• Keep the lid fitted when the dispenser is not being refilled.
• Place a clean glass directly below the tap before opening it.
• Close the tap completely after every use.
• Empty, rinse and refill the dispenser regularly.
• Check the tap joint periodically for looseness or leakage.
• Do not move the dispenser while it is completely full.
• Empty most of the water before lifting or repositioning it.

• THINGS TO BE AVOIDED:
  1. Avoid using steel scrubbers or anything similarly harsh to clean Copper
  2. Do not go for Chemical liquids to clean the copper products as they make the product loose its characteristic. 

Cleaning instructions:

• Empty the dispenser completely before cleaning.
• Remove the lid and wash it separately.
• Hand wash the body with mild dishwashing liquid and a soft sponge.
• Use a soft, long-handled brush to clean the inner surface.
• Open the tap while rinsing so clean water passes through the outlet.
• Clean around the tap joint and threaded connection carefully.
• Rinse the dispenser several times with clean water.
• Wipe the outside immediately with a soft cotton cloth.
• Leave the lid open until the inside is completely dry.
• Do not use steel wool, metal scrubbers or abrasive powders.
• Avoid bleach, chlorine and strong chemical cleaners.
• Do not wash the product in a dishwasher.

For occasional polishing, use a cleaner suitable for copper and follow its instructions. Rinse the entire dispenser and tap thoroughly before filling it with drinking water again.

Preservation and Care

• Store the dispenser only when it is completely clean and dry.
• Keep it in a dry and well-ventilated place.
• Place a soft, non-slip mat beneath the dispenser.
• Avoid prolonged contact with wet floors or damp countertops.
• Do not place heavy objects on the lid.
• Lift the empty dispenser by supporting its base with both hands.
• Never lift or carry it by the tap or lid knob.
• Protect the tap from accidental impact.
• Do not force the tap handle if it becomes stiff.
• Check and tighten the tap fitting gently when required.
• Avoid dropping or striking the body, as copper may dent.
• Keep it covered with a soft cotton cloth during long-term storage.
• Rinse thoroughly before reuse after extended storage.

Care Note: Copper naturally darkens or develops a patina when exposed to air and moisture. This is a normal property of copper. Regular cleaning, thorough drying and occasional polishing help maintain its appearance.
