Nutristar Pure Copper Water Storage Matka / Pot – 8L, 10L & 12L

Product Details

The Nutristar Pure Copper Water Storage Matka is a traditional-style copper vessel designed for storing and serving drinking water. It features a broad rounded body, wide flared mouth and smooth polished copper finish.

Its generous capacity makes it especially useful for homes, larger families, traditional kitchens and serving areas. The wide opening allows convenient filling, scooping and cleaning.

Key Benefits

  • Available in generous 8L, 10L and 12L capacities.
  • Traditional matka-style shape with an elegant copper appearance.
  • Wide mouth makes filling and cleaning more convenient.
  • Large capacity reduces the need for frequent refilling.
  • Rounded stable body suitable for countertop or floor placement.
  • Reusable metal water-storage vessel for regular household use.
  • Suitable for larger families and high-consumption households.
  • Polished copper surface complements traditional Indian kitchen and dining décor.
  • Can be paired with copper glasses, mugs or lotas for coordinated serving.
  • Suitable for household use, functions and traditional hospitality setups.

Ideal Usage

The vessel is best suited for storing plain drinking water for everyday household consumption.

The 8 litre size is practical for smaller families or kitchens with moderate water requirements. The 10 litre version offers additional storage for larger households, while the 12 litre size is useful where higher-volume drinking-water storage is required.

It can be placed in kitchens, dining areas, traditional serving corners or other dry indoor areas.

Avoid storing lemon water, fruit juice, buttermilk, vinegar-based liquids, carbonated beverages or highly acidic and salty liquids in the copper vessel for prolonged periods.

Cleaning Instructions

Wash thoroughly before first use. For regular cleaning, use mild dishwashing liquid, lukewarm water and a soft sponge or cloth.

The wide mouth allows easy access to the inside. Rinse the vessel thoroughly several times with clean water after washing.

For occasional traditional copper cleaning, a mild lemon-and-salt mixture may be used briefly on uncoated copper surfaces, followed by thorough washing and rinsing. Do not leave acidic cleaning mixtures on copper for extended periods.

Avoid steel wool, hard metal scrubbers, bleach and aggressive chemical cleaners.

After washing, drain completely and wipe the exterior dry with a soft cloth. Allow the interior to air-dry before storing the vessel empty.

Do not wash in a dishwasher.

Preservation & Care

Keep the matka in a clean, dry and well-ventilated location.

When storing it empty for an extended period, ensure the interior is completely dry and leave the opening uncovered to allow airflow.

Avoid dropping or striking the vessel because copper can dent. Do not drag the base across rough surfaces.

Keep sharp utensils away from the polished exterior to minimise scratches.

For long-term storage, wrap the vessel in a soft dry cotton cloth.

Care Note: Natural copper gradually darkens and develops a patina when exposed to air and moisture. This is a normal property of copper. Regular cleaning and occasional polishing can restore a brighter appearance.
